Want to offer a unique addition to your event?  Authentic, wetplate collodion tintype portraits could be what you are looking for.  Although this photographic process is post-1840, it offers participants an opportunity to document their participation, create meaningful images with their friends and family, and be able to share with others, outside the community,  about their rendezvous experiences.  

These portraits are a great alternative to modern, digital, color photos that can take away from the experience (modern cameras).  Using authentic process, equipment, and techniques, these portraits are generational, able to last 170+ years.
