PopUp Tintype Studio Events
 

Just like the itinerant photographers of the mid 1800's, Chris travels the country photographing the people and places of the country. PopUp Tintype Studio events are a great bring in old and new customers to your business location or event.
Chris will set up a mini photo studio and offer handmade tintype images, right in your location or at your event. Backgrounds, lights, camera, and the action of wetplate collodion process happens right in front of you! Clients get to take part in creating their own handmade tintype portrait and watch their image appear, as magic, in the chemistry.
 
How it works.
 
 
Location
 
Indoors or out? Either way works for me, but access to electricity is usually needed for events that may last into the evening.
A 10X15-ish space is needed for indoor space. Easy access and good visibility by your clients helps. Back alleys and around the corner locations are typically not ideal.
For outdoor events a bit larger space is needed due to the design of my studio tent. I will need space of around 15X20 for stakes/ropes and the tent. This is not a popup/ez-up tent but a canvas tent that needs to be staked down. A grassy area is preferred.
 
Corporate Events
 
Want to create an amazing experience for your corporate clients and partners? As part of your celebrations and networking events include a tintype portrait studio!
Let's set up a popup studio in your space and encourage your clients and partners to have a complimentary handmade portrait made while they enjoy the festivities. Portraits can be ready the same night for them to take home or they can be sent out following the event as a follow-up gift and thank you for their attendance.
Pricing is based on several factors, including location/travel, setup parameters, number of anticipated images to be made, time, and turn-around. Please get in touch to discuss.
 
Local PopUps
 
Own a small business and want to draw in new and old customers, celebrate a milestone, or just want to create a fun event for a night....then the PopUp Tintype Portrait Studio is the perfect answer!
PopUp events are great fun and bring in lots of excitement. It can also create a repeat customer experience by having folks come back to the establishment to pick up their portrait images over the next following days. Customers elect to have their portraits made, with all payments handled by the crew at The Silverbath. No one is required to have a portrait made...it's just a fun experience most folks choose to take part in.

How it works.
 
Get in touch and schedule event.
 
Send a message with a rough idea of what you are needing. We will then talk and make a plan to make it happen.
 
 
Promotion/Lead-up time.
 
We will both start promoting the upcoming event. Social media local news stories, old school posters, email blasts...whatever works for your business style.
 
 
Event Day.
 
We will get set up at your venue. We typically ask for 2-3 hours prior to go-time so we can adequately set the gear up and take a few test images to make sure everything is good to go!
Clients arrive...we start making art!
 
 
After the event.
 
Depending on the way the contract works...we will either have all images ready by the end of the event or we will deliver them to you within, usually, 1 week.
We also do followup social media marketing and event announcements.
